The Council is a first-in-the-nation, public-private partnership. Businesses pledge to take concrete, measurable steps to eliminate the wage gap in their company.
The BWWC is looking for a political science, women’s and gender studies, or business student dedicated to gender equality. Prior experience in local or state government or politics is a plus, as is familiarity with Constant Contact, Adobe Photoshop, STATA, and SPSS.
The internship comes with a $1,500 stipend to be paid in several increments throughout the summer.
The office is located at the Hariri Institute at Boston University (111 Cummington Mall, Boston, MA 02215), though the fellowship may include local travel, and occasionally working remotely is fine. The internship will take place from June-August 2017 (flexible start and end dates) for 20-25 hours/week.
